About Me

I'm Saheer Anas, a software developer with about 9 years of experience, mostly building web and mobile applications. I've spent a good chunk of that time working with React Native and frontend technologies, where I enjoy turning designs into interfaces that feel fast and intuitive.

My day-to-day tools include React Native, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Redux. Over the years, I've also dabbled in Node.js, Next.js, Angular, Magento 2, MongoDB, WASM, Go and Rust. Lately, I've been shifting my focus toward the backend, digging into APIs, databases, and exploring AI-related stuff like RAG and running local LLMs.

I tend to dig deeper into the tools I use rather than just taking them at face value. If I'm working with a framework, I usually want to understand what's happening behind the scenes. That curiosity often leads me to experiment with new tech or spin up small projects just to test an idea.

When I'm not working, I'm probably tinkering with something, whether it's a side project or just exploring a new technology that caught my attention. I'm always learning, and honestly, I like it that way.
